Dive into the world of ambient music creation with our workshop. This introductory session provides participants with boilerplate code and guides them through the techniques for crafting intricate ambient textures using sound files in Strudel. Ideal for anyone interested in music technology, sound design, or expanding their artistic expression through ambient soundscapes.
This workshop will be divided into four 30-minute sections. 1st / 30-minute demonstration of a simpler live coding idea 2nd / 30-minute demonstration of a more advanced coding idea 3rd / A live 30-minute performance from the artist 4th / A 30-minute Q&A where you can ask the artist any question on your mind The artist arrives 30 minutes before the class begins to help with any technical questions about setting up. Although Strudel runs in the browser and requires no formal installation it is recommended that you test the software before the class. To allow the workshop to flow classes will not be stopped for technical issues, so please use this time if you have any technical questions.
