Speakers & presentations

Tokamu is a multimedia artist, who specializes in music and visual production. Constantly inspired by both the ancestral and the futuristic, he likes to explore the line that separates the organic and the synthetic. He will show how he uses Touchdesigner along with other softwares, such as Blender. His goal is to highlight the importance of exploration in the creative process, rather than mastering  the techniques. Flexible workflow, intuitive learning and interaction between programs are some of the essentials behind his approach to 3D (and 2D).

Daecheon Kim is a South Korean artist and architect. He is sharing the TouchDesigner 3D modeling tutorial online. How to create procedural 3D modeling with hammer and saw examples in SOPs and CHOPs and a brief Daecheon's recent 3d modeling study using only TouchDesigner.

Billy Tegethoff aka Owsley Wylyfyrd been using Touchdesigner for about a year. In that time he's created pieces almost daily and built an organic Instagram following of about 12.5k. He's had the honor of working with documentarian Giselle Bailey, composer Stephen Hilton, and a smattering of other awesome artists.  I'll be doing some exploration of multi-axis camera animations for navigating a 3D environment using the Animation COMP as well as several different ways of handling 3D models created outside of TD.
