Taught by: Jess Camilleri
Time: Stream kickoff 6:30pm

Getting your own music ready for release as an independent artist or producer can be an intense experience, and bringing new people into your project can feel daunting! This seminar will take you through some helpful things to consider when preparing to work with a mix engineer. We will explore how to choose references, give feedback and help your engineer understand exactly how you want your music to sound, as well as looking at some basic mix principles to bear in mind throughout the process. We will also cover the practical elements of working with a mixer, such as preparing your audio to be mixed, and getting the stems and versions you need once everything is signed off.
