This workshop will explore both the art of field recording and it’s creative applications in music production. From considering a variety of field recording techniques to extrapolating weird and wonderful sonic textures from these recordings, this workshop is an opportunity to learn how field recordings offer producers exciting technical, aesthetic and even socio-political textures in their music. The workshop will include engaging discussions, group listening and live demonstrations and is a must attend for any music producer keen to start broadening their sonic palette.
The event will be livestreamed on the Music Hackspace YouTube channel
