Marijn Cinjee creates electronic ambient and classical electroacoustic music. His compositions take the form of commissioned pieces for art, film, and live concerts. His work focuses on crafting immersive experiences that transport audiences to new and captivating realms.
He thinks of technology as a tool, no more, no less. However, he has frequently encountered situations where the existing tools fail to deliver the results seeked, prompting him to innovate and craft new solutions. His engineering and creative technology work have led to long-term projects with Genelec, Naturalis Biodiversity Center, and TU-Delft.
He holds a BA from the University of the Arts Utrecht with a degree in Music and Technology, and an MA in Immersive Audio Design. At 4DSOUND he plays a key role in spatial sound engineering, R&D activities, technical spatial sound design, and composition.
