SUMMARY:Music Hackspace Workshop at the Zabludowicz Collection - Build your own DIY Sequencing machine with Ewa Justka
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this workshop to build your own sequencing machine for you to take home. The Sequencing Machine is a pseudo modular DIY synth. Depending on the patch you make you can create different sequences. This simple yet versatile synth is capable of producing a wide range of weird sounds from watery\, noisy rhythms to 8-bit melodies. \n[shopify embed_type=”product” shop=”musichackspace.myshopify.com” product_handle=”music-hackspace-workshop-at-the-zabludowicz-collection-build-your-own-diy-sequencing-machine-with-ewa-justka” show=”button-only”] \nThis Music Hackspace workshop will be led by polish electronic noise artist Ewa Justka\, a self taught instrument builder\, designer and electronics teacher based in London. In her artistic work Ewa attempts to explore the concept of materiality of the hidden. Ewa has performed and led workshops at festivals and venues like:  Loop Festival\, Sonic Acts Academy\, Supernormal Festival\, Club Transmediale\, STEIM\,  Colour out of Space\, Beam Festival\, Norberg Festival\, Cafe Oto\, and more.  \nMusic Hackspace is a London based community for artists\, musicians\, innovators and hobbyists passionate about music technology and sound art. They run a programme of DIY workshops and events and are residents at the Somerset House Studios. \nThis workshop is programmed at the Zabludowicz Collection\, to coincide with the exhibition HRM199  / HAROON MIRZA : FOR A PARTNERSHIP SOCIETY. Haroon Mirza is famous for his use of electricity as a material with which he orchestrates light\, sound and video to produce kinetic sculptures\, performances and immersive installations. \nZabludowicz Collection‘s London project space presents a varied programme of self-initiated group and solo exhibitions\, commissions and residencies\, drawing on works from the collection or new works by artists linked to the collection.
