In this session, Marie will share her approach, interest and preferred tools for designing, prototyping and testing physical and digital interfaces that mediate sound. Drawing on examples of both success and failures from her experience as a designer and technologist, she'll aim to answer questions such as:
Why prototype in the design process? / How do you get started with audio-visual prototypes? / What can you learn from testing?
Marie is a technologist and interaction designer with a taste for creating sound-based experiences and tools. After graduating from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, she has worked for and collaborated with various artists and projects in the musical industry including Sennheiser, Yuri Suzuki, Nick Ryan Studio and the Circle Guitar. She is currently working at Vochlea developing voice to MIDI products.
We ask all participants to read and follow the Berlin Code of Conduct and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
