SPOKE is a new generation of capacitive touchboard for interactive computer controlling. It has 27 true-capacitive touch sensors, each one with its own customisable neopixel indicator light. It uses native Circuitpython libraries to handle capacitive touch sensing and is able to use any of the adafruit libraries to handle computer communication.
More commonly, USB-MIDI or as a HID device emulating keyboard of mouse commands. The board has polyphonic touch, allowing you to create complex interfaces with complex input commands. The code is editable within a basic text editor like Notepad, making it incredibly easy to customise by changing a few numbers, or copying and pasting any of the examples provided on the projects github.
Some MIDI examples include: Polyphonic single touch, chords, sequences, arpeggios, CC control, ‘pressure’ sensing mapped to velocity, Mapping pins to separate channels, toggling between modes and there are more examples to come! The board also has some stemma connectors which will allow you to add your own input/output devices like light sensors, distance sensors, gesture inputs, OLED screens, Servo motor control or any number of other i2c devices.
