In this workshop you will build your own virtual Eurorack synthesizers via VCV Rack 2. This free app is an amazing playground to explore creative sound design and synthesis and is perfect for beginners who are interested in the power of eurorack modular instruments. This workshop aims to provide you with suitable skills to begin exploring making your own SW modular synthesis instruments in the VCV Rack 2 environment.

  • Appraise the role of V/Oct and Gates in eurorack modular instruments
  • Trigger and pass audio in VCV Rack 2
  • Filter, modulated and monitor signals
  • Create unique SW modular synthesis instruments

Phelan Kane is a Berlin & London based music producer, engineer, artist, developer and educator. He is currently running the electronic music record label Meta Junction Recordings and the audio software development company Meta Function. He has released the Max for Live device synth Wave Junction in partnership with Sonicstate.
