This will be an online only session. Which will take place Thursday 7th of April at 6:30pm UK
Producer and songwriter Catherine Anne Davies (aka The Anchoress) will lead a session looking at the stimulus for creativity in the culture around us. Taking a look back over her own career as a successful multi-instrumentalist, producer, and co-writer, she will walk through a variety of examples of the ways in which cultural stimulus can be used for songwriting as well as informing our creative identity. The session will include techniques that you can bring into your own everyday creative process to stimulate new ideas and writing practices that don't rely on internal inspiration, as well as revealing some of the signature production techniques that made her recent album The Art of Losing top many of the album of the year charts.
The event will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel
