For the first of a series of events UAL Makers have teamed up with Music Hackspace, a place for artists, innovators, entrepreneurs and hobbyists passionate about music and technology.

Register here!

The event will feature a talk and workshop hosted by Tom Fox, a craftsman, maker and pioneer in the search for new sounds and the development of truly unique instruments.

Many of you probably know Tom’s project, Vulpestruments – a collection of hand-built noise machines fashioned from as much recycled and reclaimed materials as possible. From the strings to the pickups and the tuning pins, these unexpected sources make genuinely remarkable sounds.

Places are limited so please make sure to book early if you would like to attend.

* Music Hackspace is currently hosted by LimeWharf, a Hackney based cultural innovation hub and artistic laboratory on Regent’s Canal.

The Music Hackspace programme is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
