Thea Cochrane used her prolific background in sound design for drama to lead Session 9 of the We Move series, exploring the ways that sound design techniques can offer innovative new approaches to music production.

Thea Cochrane is a composer, music producer, audio editor in addition to being a preservation engineer for the British Library’s Sound Heritage department. Thea started out training at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studios and has gone on to a fascinating and varied career in sound design - notably working for the Dr Who radio franchise as a sound designer and composer for many of their episodes across the Torchwood, Bernice Summerfield and Companion Chronicles series.
