Producer and songwriter Catherine Anne Davies (aka The Anchoress) led a session on finding the stimulus for creativity in the culture around us.
Drawing from her career as a successful multi-instrumentalist, producer, and co-writer, she walked through ways in which cultural stimulus can be used for songwriting and informing creative identity. The session included techniques to stimulate new ideas and writing practices that don't rely on internal inspiration, as well as some signature production techniques from her album The Art of Losing.
