This on-demand workshop walks through mixing a full drum kit from raw tracks to finished bus. Richie Beretta covers DAW setup and workflow before tackling each element in turn: EQ and compression on the kick and snare, snare reverb timing, dynamic EQ on toms, hi-hats, ride and overheads, and shaping the room sound with synthetic reverb. It closes with mix-bus and parallel compression, plus a discussion of analog-modelled plugins and how to practise mixing effectively. Best suited to producers who already know their way around a DAW.
