Course overview
Dr. Bruno has been researching and working with modular synthesizers since 2013, making them a highlight of her live performances and compositions as she releases and performs under her artist alias, Eden Grey. In this talk, she will be giving a demonstration of her custom Eurorack modular synthesizer, creating a patch from beginning to end. The modular synthesizer, when unpatched, is like a blank canvas for sound design. Dr. Bruno will explain her technique in getting creative whilst designing sound with this unique analogue/digital hybrid instrument.

Dr. Chelsea Bruno
Dr. Chelsea Bruno has released album collections of her compositions under her artist alias, Eden Grey, since 2009. She has researched electronic music for her Masters’ in Music Technology from 2011-2014 at Florida International University and earned her PhD in Music Composition at Royal Holloway, University of London from 2014-2020.
