2. Introdcution to Live Coding

Course overview

This on-demand course is designed to merge the realms of music theory and live coding. In the first half, we explore the unique opportunities that algorithmic patterns present to musicians, translating complex concepts like repetition, interference patterns, and expectation into the practical language of live coding. The second half focuses on applying these concepts to create structured compositions. The course is perfect for those interested in the intersection of coding and music composition, offering both theoretical insights and practical applications.
