Part 2: Patch sequencers in Rack 2 and quantize their outputs 1
Course overview
In this workshop you will dive deeper into building your own virtual eurorack synthesizers via VCV Rack 2. This free app is an amazing playground to explore creative sound design and synthesis and you will explore sequencing, quantizing, multi oscillator patches, analogue FM and polyphony. This workshop aims to provide you with suitable skills to further develop your own SW modular synthesis instruments in the VCV Rack 2 environment.
Learning outcomes
Workshop 1: Run multiple oscillators in parallel
Workshop 1: Use random modulation sources and MIDI CC’s
Workshop 1: Create unique SW modular synthesis instruments
Workshop 2: Create analogue FM patches
Workshop 2: Setup and use polyphony
Workshop 2: Build a self-generating patch
Workshop 2: Further create bespoke self-designed SW modular synthesis instruments
