Join us next Monday 7th of March with Soulsby Synthesisers‘s founder Paul Soulsby, who will present and demo The Atmegatron, a powerful 8-bit synth and The miniAtmegatron, a synth shield kit for the Arduino Uno.
Paul has been using synthesizers since he was a kid and is a member of the electronic band Trademark. He got his first keyboard when he was 7 and started programming computers when he was 8. It took 26 years to think of combining the two skills! He studied Music Technology at the University of York and went on to work in various jobs in the media industry involving either sound engineering or computer programming. The Atmegatron is his debut synthesiser.
The talk and demo will be between 7-8pm. The remaining time will be used for discussion with Paul, casual hangout until close at 10.00pm. Attendees will also have the opportunity to try out the synths during the event.
