Music Hackspace Artist Opportunity/ Call Out

As part of our 2018 programme, we are pleased to introduce new opportunities for artists, musicians and practitioners working with sound, art and music technology. The opportunity is focused on artistic development, and the successful applicant will be encouraged to explore their ideas, creative practice, and to develop their skills through connecting with and contributing to the Music Hackspace community. We encourage applications from practitioners using open source technologies and DIY methodologies, looking to build new instruments, installations and sound based works. Residency timeline: 1 May 2018 – 31 July 2018. Application Deadline: 9am, 9 April 2018. More info here.

Ewa Justka at Music Hackspace (March – May 2018)

We’re thrilled to introduce Ewa Justka as the first artist in our new series of artist opportunities. Ewa’s Activity will be focused in developing her practice as a workshop leader and DIY synth designer and builder. She will run a course of workshops on DIY synth design, prototyping and PCB etching during March, a three day workshop, Acid Studies with EVOL, in April, and will co-curate and more. Ewa Justka is a polish electronic acid-technoise artist, self taught instruments builder and electronics teacher based in London.
